The ideas behind the designs
The first design is The Peak and Valley design. Sacred sexuality is not a secret, but not many people delve into this world. Osho was one of the main eastern leaders who brought the idea into the west. This is a very interesting interview with him about sacred sexuality. He describe about orgasms and that there is the peak orgasm, but also the valley orgasm. I wanted to get this idea out there as a part of empowering women and make them believe "every women deserve to have an orgasm". Therefore , if a girl gets this postcard to her friend who have never heard about it, she would probably look it up..
The second design was inspired by a quote I found during this research. I researched about feminism as well and found a big list of feminist quotes, This quote stole my eyes and I just loved it. I had to include it in one way or another in this assignment, and when I found out about the Orgasm day - it was just brilliant and obvious!
Now for the illustration, it was either going for a shiny floor or for a woman experiencing orgasm. I don't thing I held too long that conflict in my head..
Then the last design was about sacred sexuality. another thing about this world that some woman don't know about and never explored. Some women think it is all about satisfying their partner, or it is about doing it and thinking about other things, some of them never even experienced any sexual experience with themselves. This is when "the kit" came into my mind as a message worth sending in this topic. As Osho was saying in the video before, burning incense and candles, and making an atmosphere is important. Neroli and sensual candles are great to increase libido, and incense as well. The Yoni crystal egg is not so known to many women. It is actually a very ancient practice that women has used in history.
Empresses and concubines of the Royal Palace of China used eggs carved out of jade to access sexual power, awaken sensuality and maintain amazing health into their old age. Up until recently, this ancient, secret practice was only available to members of the royal family, and to select Taoist practitioners.
“Yoni” is a Sanskrit word for the female genitalia that means “sacred space.” Its symbol has been worshiped in Eastern cultures since ancient times for bestowing life, creativity and love. We will be using the term “yoni” to bring appreciation and acknowledgment – so often lacking in Western culture – to the creative power this magical part of the female body holds.

Evaluating the assignment
It was an interesting assignment, especially since it put into practice all I've been exercising and learning about in the past part. I think it was really challenging for me since I'm very new to all adobe softwares, I taught myself graphic design from a young age and used every free software out there. I see hoe I evolve from only this one part.
I'm also not a good drawer and it is quite intimidating for me to hold a pen or a pencil and actually draw my designs, I'm pretty happy with how it came all together but I'm sure I will keep evolve and learn, and of course - get better!
Looking forward for the next part.
